CTRL+ALT – A Culture Lab on Imagined Futures

The Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center is a migratory museum that brings Asian Pacific American history, art and culture to you through innovative community-focused experiences.

The November 2016 “CTRL+ALT – A Culture Lab on Imagined Futures” exhibition took place at 477 Broadway, the former site of the iconic Pearl River Mart. This free week long experience featured over 30 artists and scholars “doing their thing”.

ATD was humbled and honored to participate in the production of this pop-up museum. We planned all logistics including providing all audio, video and lighting, but also managed power distribution for the entire space. Our creative furniture solutions helped guests enjoy the experience. The entire project was executed in one week, just two weeks from first contact with the client.
