“The Lost Lectures”

The Lost Lectures, founded by Julian Slawinski-Knight, is a unique series of events that hosts enchanting talks from secret locations, taking audiences far away from traditional corporate and academic environments and into spaces that surprise, delight and bring the imagination to life.

For their New York launch, the Lost Lectures partnered with Hyperallergenic, a Brooklyn-based online arts magazine, to debut “Lost Lecture Two: New York” at the Knockdown Center in Queens, NY. “Lost Lecture Two: New York” presented 6 world-class speakers, performances, interactive demos, and art installations, and was attended by over 750 people.

We were contracted to provide lighting, sound, and power distribution services. Our scope of work was to provide strategic sound and power distribution to minimize our stage footprint, and lighting design expertise to add texture and depth to the space.

Using GOBO textures, we projected light on all surfaces of the venue except the floor and provided a minimalist on-stage mic set-up to ensure quick and easy transitions between presenters.
